Shipping Policy
How we pack, insure, and ship what you win — by category. This policy applies across both West Coast Auction Co. in North Port and Gallery 41 in Port Charlotte.

Standard Shipping & Large Items
- USPS Flat Rate / similar: items fitting standard boxes are shipped at no more than flat rate cost, plus optional insurance.
- Large items & freight: a custom quote is required for oversized items; LTL freight is available.

Coins, Currency, Stamps & Bullion
- Option A — Registered Mail: insured up to $50,000, double-boxed, paper gummed tape seal, signature required.
- Option B — Uninsured Transit: standard trackable carrier; a written email waiver is required, and the buyer assumes 100% liability.

Jewelry, Fine Art & Precious Stones
- USPS Registered Mail (up to $50,000) or standard UPS/USPS.
- Discreet outer packaging with no value identifiers.
- Padded inner container with reinforced structural support.

Firearms
- Transferred exclusively through a designated third-party FFL holder.
- Shipped only to a valid FFL in the buyer’s state of residence.
- No ammunition is sold or shipped.

Knives & Sharp Instruments
- Switchblades / automatic knives: not sold or shipped.
- Standard knives permitted via USPS/UPS.
- Blades sheathed in double-layer cushioning, rigid outer box, no external markings.

Delivery & Security Protocols
- Signature required on all shipments over $500.
- No shipping to unverified third-party freight forwarders.
- Insurance waiver available via written email direction — buyer assumes all liability.
